EJ Gonzalez, Esq. is the Managing Partner and Founder of The Gonzalez Law Firm, based in Tampa, Florida. Born and raised in Tampa, he graduated from Jesuit High School in 2005 before pursuing higher education at Florida State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree with a double major in Criminology and Political Science in 2010. After years of working in the legal field as a paralegal, he went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2019.

With a strong focus on probate, wills, and trusts, EJ brings a wealth of knowledge to his practice. In the past 4 years, he has worked with over 50 collegiate and professional football players; negotiating compensation for player contracts, collective payments, and marketing agreements. In addition, he consults college football players on the transfer portal.
